What I do at night, what the night does to me is a scenic reverie born from an intensive 60-hour workshop that I conducted with the Classe libre’s 42nd promotion from February 14th to March 4th, 2022.

It was an intense journey of training, technical development and collaborative creation around the concept of DREAM: something which, like stage acting, finds its balance between true and false, concrete and abstract, a lie which actually feels true. The notion of dream also encompasses, quite naturally, that of nightmare, but also another one, particularly interesting in a work based on poetics and the presence of an artist acting, which is sleep… Upon sleep, we build a choral and moving dreamlike framework which also absorbs and reflects the dreams and ghosts of the audience…

"During the day, I'm nothing; at night, I'm me." Fernando Pessoa

"A sleeping man holds in a circle around him the passing hours, the structuring of years and worlds." Marcel Proust
